this one really hurts...derrick wood just decommitted. it really seems like lavin's absence is hurting this team and i for one am REALLY concerned about how coach lavin is doing. he's been away from coaching now for almost 2 months, with no reports about when he'll be back. i thought he would be back by the big east stint, but still no sign.
first it was gathers, then lindsey transfers and now wood...oh yeah and pelle and sampson reclassifying too. this is not a good omen. hopefully lavin comes back soon and gathers and wood comes back to st. john's but you know a lot of other teams are going to be on them!
