St. John's assistant coach Matt Abdelmassih has reportedly received an offer to join the LSU coaching staff following the recent hire of Will Wade, as announced Monday.
After spearheading St. John's recruiting efforts over the past two seasons, Abdelmassih, a source told RedStormReport.com, is likely to accept the offer from the SEC program and relocate his recruiting prowess to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
In light of rampant rumors over the past two days of his possible move, Abdelmassih's social media activity has indicated possibly has moved on from the Red Storm as he recently followed LSU basketball's official Twitter account and local recruiting reporters, in addition to liking several tweets relating to the hiring of Wade, who he reportedly has a close relationship with.
While nothing is official as of yet, things aren't trending favorably for St. John's as it gets ready to start the spring recruiting gauntlet.
