WOW! It's been such a long time for st.john's fans to rejoice and be giddy that we are right now. The Garden has been waiting to rock for a long time, heck new york bball has been waiting to get behind a winner for awhile now. Now we are #9 class for 2011 as per espn. After it's all said and done, we should be a top 5 class. We obviously HAVE to go get a legit big man and point guard to run the show. Pelle seems to be the logical choice for big man, and point guard can be lindsay or possible quinn cook from oak hill, who usually produce big time players. A true testament as to what Lavin is doing is this. Not only is he getting top 50 players, quinn cook's final list was duke, carolina, kansas, ucla and st.john's. To be actually competing against these top schools really shows that we are on the right track. And i'm loving on how we are getting players all over the map...ohio and texas. You don't have to get the mediorce new york to stay home, try to get a big time prospect like we did with Harkless and that's all you hopefully need. Thanks to him and him embracing the challenge, the chips are starting to fall. Couple of questions i have is where everyone plays...
pg-lindsay/cook/harrison

need a few big guys. does polee come off the bench? he's supposed to be big time too. if they get these other guys, amir garrett or dom pointer, they are small forwards too. what does that mean? hopefully one can play the 4, and would they come knowing they would be coming off the bench, or possibility to start if the other guys are 1 and done or 2 and done players. and finally, what the hell happened to remi barry? he was supposed to be choosing b/t us, ucla and arizona st, but nothing ever happened

Remy couldn't get the books right and had to downgrade. It also looks like Garrett and Lindsey are locks but Pointer is iffy.
