If we beat Marquette, Villanova beats Xavier, and Creighton beats Providence it will all come down to which of the 10-8 teams go the furthest in the Big East Tourney. Big East could get 4 in but most likely scenario could also be 3. Go Johnnies......

that's actually my question. your scenario is very plausible, and if it happens, what would the seeding be? all 3 teams would have identical 20-11 overall and 10-8 big east records. anyone know what the tiebreaker is?

We will be seeded #5 for the Big east Tournament. We need at least one win and maybe two to get to the Big Dance. To play in the finals would be the best result.

so what's the tiebreaker? xavier beat the johnnies 2x, but split with providence and the johnnies split with providence.

anyways, beat providence, then nova and play in the final against creighton (most likely). still think they need to run the table to get in. record vs. rpi top 50 is wretched. they did get a BIG jump in the RPI with their win against marquette, which is good but still not enough...win the BE tourney and no question.

Who did St.John's beat out of conference who is top 40 team? Monmouth,Fordham, Columbia and Bucknell is not good wins.
