Very impressed with the undermanned team today. playing without jamal branch and still no sanchez (seems like for the remainder of the year), this team went up big and held on (barely) for a big win on the road in Cincy. I loved the fact that they are still not a cohesive gelled unit just yet and still are doing well. Today D'angelo was held to only 15, but Jakar and others stepped it up. Obekpa is a blocking machine!!!! Can't believe the Johnnies lead the nation in blocked shots!!
What is apparent though is they cannot run a slow down half court offense. They are WAY better at driving to the lane, coming off screens for jumpers and in transition. Almost blew this one by trying to run 4 corners!
