thanks for posting this maurice and amen to that. just read about his passing this morning in the SF chronicle, where i live. missed the game yesterday so had no idea he had passed. glad i got to see him before he passed when i went to the USF-St. John's game in SF in Dec. it seems like he was a great man. thoughts and prayers are with the lavin family.
